I want to be like Kylie Jenner. I don’t mean I want to look like her. Yes, she is a pretty girl. She has sex appeal to her, but that’s not what I am aiming for. I could say I want to be like Rihanna, who I have been a fan of since day one, she is also black, just like me. She’s very inspirational. Let me explain why I chose Kylie Jenner.
Kylie Jenner had to grow on me. I have watched her success grow over the years. I can only admire and appreciate it. As a young female myself, I can only dream of having the same exact success that she has. Now, a lot of people would say she has the advantage by being born into money, but she wasn’t born into her 900-million-dollar entity. That took hard work and dedication. It went from an insecurity about her lips to an idea to a reality. Now, she’s the richest one out of all her sister’s and it was Kim Kardashian who was always the talk of the town. From rumors, to fashion, to new business ideas, she was always the one people always raved about. So, why Kylie?
Kylie is every young girl’s dream right now. She is my dream at least. She’s young and she has her own cosmetic business. Also, she has other endeavors that she endowed in. She has done numerous photo shoots, she has written a book along with her sister, she had a clothing line, and of course she appears on their reality show. Aside from her career success, she has a huge house, nice car, a boyfriend who adores her, a sweet, gorgeous baby girl, family who supports her, and friends who love and support her as well. I mean, it can’t get any better that. I’m sure she has problems. I’m sure her life isn’t peachy, but it’s the fact that she has all this great success at a young age. Most girls in their early twenties want what she has. You have to admire her for this.
I want to have that. I always say my goal in life is to be happy. I want to be a successful writer and to have a thriving business. I want to write film. I want to have my own magazine. I want my own cosmetic line and a kid’s clothing line. I don’t mind acting and having my own tv show on the side. I’m more of a private person. I like to be lowkey. I don’t really want fame. I’ll take the fortune though.
Cardi B is another inspiration. She blew up and rose to fame and became successful in such a short period of time. I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t know about her until love and hiphop. I didn’t know she was an internet sensation before that. I always say if Cardi can become successful in a short period of time, then so can I. She’s only been out for about a good four, five years maybe and in the first year that I have known her, she was a breakout star. Everybody was so hipped to her. She was the definition of success and from there she just kept growing and growing her brand and that’s phenomenal. Just think, it’s a lot of people on love and hiphop who still doesn’t have a hit record. Let alone a hit album. I would love to become successful in a short period of time.
